Status update:

I just made a ring for a couple who will get married! It's so beautiful... it's silver and really expensive(;

7/10/2013

I'm so beautiful, I shine... literally!

7/11/2013

I'm strong and solid, but I don't exercise! I must be pretty special...

8/17/2013

Fluorine and I just reacted to make Platinum(VI) Fluoride! This is one of my favorites(:

Overview:

I'm a nontoxic transition metal. Don't worry, I won't harm you physically... unless you wear something too small for you! When it gets extremely hot, I can melt at 3214 degrees Fahrenheit and I boil at 6917 degrees Fahrenheit. People prefer to leave me in a room temperature place to make me solid and strong! My friends tell me I'm very reactive... is that a good thing or a bad thing? Your health won't be affected as much... maybe. If you inhale my dust, you could sneeze, irritation of your nose, and breathe shorter. If my liquid is spilled on you, your skin may cause a rash and skin irritation.

Information:

Relationship Status:

Single, I rarely react with others. I'm antisocial, sorry. /:

Everyone is reacting, but me. I feel left out!

Activities & Interests:

I really love to react with other elements, especially with Fluorine gas and Chlorine! It's really hard though, I'm inactive. Together, we make beautiful jewelry for other people to wear and give, which means I'm malleable! I always look fabulous. My looks are amazing; I'm silver and shiny! In the air, I don't corrode or tarnish.

Since I don't react or socialize a lot, I have a few elements I can react with. ): Here are just some equations you can find me in!

Pt(s) + 3F2(g) → PtF6(s) : dark red

4Pt(s) + 10F2(g) → (PtF5)4(s) : deep red

Pt(s) + 2Br2(g) → PtBr4(s) : brown black

Pt(s) + Cl2(g) → PtCl2(s) : dark red or olive green

Whoa, this woman's finger is really soft! I fit perfectly on her finger (: Maybe she put on lotion...

8/02/2013

That is so sweet... I'm inside of a wedding ring box. :'D They're getting married! I would look beautiful on their finger.

9/15/2013

I'm getting sold to a rich man's jewelry store! Yay, new friends!

10/23/2013

Wow, Fluorine and I really get along with our equations! Look what we did today! (PtF5)4(s) → PtF6(s) + PtF4(s) : yellow brown

Hello Platinum,
What are some other uses for your metal? I mean, you have to be more than just about the bling?

Hi, Mrs. Lloyd. There are other uses for me, such as, using myself as a Platinum record for music. Also, I am used for electronics. For example, hard disks for computers, video recorders, and mp3 players or fuel cells for cars. I hope this answers your question.

I don't know exactly what you are trying to say. Can you please explain?

You must be pretty famous if they named a game after you.

Why are you so inreactive? You should try socializing more.

platinum said

I'm sorry, I'm a bit shy. I'll try socializing more, if it helps /:

Looks like you'll be #foreveralone because you don't react. You should try it.

platinum said

Wow, thanks... I wish I could react though, but I just can't let myself! I'm afraid things might go wrong.

Wow! You don't react? You should be a bit more outgoing. I hear they have counseling for that. Try it! :)

Thanks, I'm working on it! I only have a couple of friends I can react with...
