I can clean teeth, and I live right above chlorine, and you can find me making uranium.

Status update:

4/9- Hanging out with my two favorite teeth! (Pearly and Freshco) Check out my new profile picture.

5/18- Today I'm going to help make some uranium.

5/19- Today I'm going to doctor Schwab's lab to create rocket fuel.

6/12- Chillin with Cesium during my luch break. I'm ready to go help the children with their oral hygeine...

8/4- Cesium and I are still together!! Our <3 is forever.

8/5- The Law of Conservation of matter states that no matter is ever created nor destroyed, it only changes shapes and forms. Therefore, when Cesium and I react, we are not creating any new matter, the matter is just changing forms.

Overview:

I am a light yellow highly reactive nonmetal and you can find me in many compounds. Look at my nine protons and electrons, and my 10 nuetrons. Guess what?!!? Im also heat resistant and flammable. however I can also be a poor conductor of electricity because I am a non-metal..

Information:

Relationship Status:

Ionic bond

Primary Relationship:

In a relationship with cesium! <3!!

network:

I am proud to be a non-metal!

valence electrons:

reactivity: highly reactive with most elements
state of matter:  I am a gas in nature
Location on Periodic Table: Group 17, Period 2

Birthday:

1886

Hometown:

France, My founder is Henri Moissan

Movies:

The Flourine Murderer is my favorite horror movie!

Activities & Interests:

I am a light, pale yellow gas  and I am the lightest element of the halogen group. I am also very viscous. I also have a very unique strong odor that I can never seem to wash off because when i am exposed to water, I get angry and I become highly reactive. I love to bond with other elements and here are some of my chemical equations

Lithium: 2Li + F2--> 2LiF

Chlorine: Cl2(g) + F2(g) → 2ClF(g)

Bromine: Br2(g) + F2(g) → 2BrF(g)

Places:

5/1-Hi everybody, meet me in the Earths crust tonight for some fun explosions.

6/1-I'm currently hanging out in a bottle of toothpaste waiting patiently to be used. I am very dedicated to my cleaning.

7/1-Right now I am in the air being released into the air and wind blown soil.

8/1- One of my chemical equations = 2F2 + O2 → 2OF

Together we form hexaflouride selenium! I'm afraid I am under your spell; you've "hexed" me!

fluorine said

at 8:26 pm on Nov 4, 2013

Yes!! I have "hexed" you.

Henri Moissan earned the 1906 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for what?

fluorine said

at 9:51 am on Oct 29, 2013

The Nobel Prize was awarded to my founder Henri Moissan for being the first man to isolate me

fluorine said

Without him I wouldn't be here!!!

arsenic said

at 8:59 am on Oct 29, 2013

Hey, did you know that we make Arsenic pentafluoride. Do you want to hook up some time?

fluorine said

at 8:24 pm on Nov 4, 2013

Arsenic pentafluoride is an extremely dangerous compound. I am not ready to be in a toxic relationship.

cesium said

at 9:20 am on Oct 29, 2013

I know how it feels to need that one extra electron to be stable. Do you want to bond with me? We make a crystalline solid (Cesium Fluoride).
I can ALREADY see our future; it's CRYSTAL CLEAR.

Yours truly, Cesium

fluorine said

at 9:59 am on Oct 29, 2013

I would love to finally have a full valence electron shell, and a crystal clear future is very promising. I'm sure we can get together and bond.

bismuth said

at 9:22 am on Oct 29, 2013

Hey did you know that we can react together to form Bismuth trifluoride and become water-insoluble?

fluorine said

at 9:15 pm on Nov 4, 2013

I'm already taken by the one and only CESIUM!! ;)

iodine said

at 9:55 am on Oct 29, 2013

Hey, did you know that we can react together at room temperature to form pentafluoride iodine(V) fluoride?

fluorine said

at 8:31 pm on Nov 4, 2013

I am normally confortable at a temperature above room temperature, and I am not willing to be in that enviornment.

chromium said

at 10:19 am on Oct 29, 2013

We can become Chromium Difluoride, a blue green iridescent crystal. Together, we can be used in hydrocarbon cracking and nuclear reactor fuels!

fluorine said

at 8:37 pm on Nov 4, 2013

Sorry, I dont like to work on the war fields. I could possibly get injured and never make a compound again.

fluorine said

at 9:17 pm on Nov 4, 2013

Maybe we can just be buddies!

osmiun said

at 2:25 pm on Oct 29, 2013

Hey fluorine! We can react together to form the compound osmium hexaflouride at temperatures of over 300 degrees Celsius. Will you bond with me to form an relationship? :)

fluorine said

at 8:52 pm on Nov 4, 2013

That relationship would be waaaay to "hot." I'm not into manipulated relationships.

molybdenum said

at 2:32 pm on Oct 29, 2013

Flourine ur my deepest and most genuine love, i need you much, u make my heart burst, lets react, please?

fluorine said

at 9:23 pm on Nov 4, 2013

You must wait forever until I am finally tired of Cesium.

fluorine said

at 10:26 pm on Nov 4, 2013

Just kidding I would love to hang out some time but sadly we cannot bond. I only have one true love cesium!

technetium said

at 3:02 pm on Oct 29, 2013

Hey Flourine, if we were together, we could make 2 kinds of technetium Flouride. Can we get to know each other better and bond with each other? <3

fluorine said

at 8:55 pm on Nov 4, 2013

Two kinds!!! That is amazing! :0 Unfourtantely I am already in a relationship with cesium <3..

tungsten said

at 3:16 pm on Oct 29, 2013

I come in peace. I'm not interested in forming a relationship with you (no offense). I thought we could just be friends because at room temperature we could make tungsten fluoride. We'd make really cool buddies.

fluorine said

at 8:56 pm on Nov 4, 2013

I would love to be JUST FRIENDS!!!

hydrogen said

at 9:40 pm on Oct 29, 2013

potassium said

fluorine said

at 9:21 pm on Nov 4, 2013

I dont want to be a compuond with any element that cannot even spell my formal name properly!! (although I do go by "Fluor" and "The tooth master"

Back off!! I dont want to be with you!!

platinum said

at 8:22 pm on Nov 4, 2013

Flourine, I can't give you a proper proposal, but will you be in a relationship with me? I would give you a ring, but we're already together! (;

fluorine said

at 8:46 pm on Nov 4, 2013

What do you mean we are together???

platinum said

at 8:56 pm on Nov 4, 2013

If you look on my page, we can make rings!

fluorine said

at 8:58 pm on Nov 4, 2013

What a pretty ring in your profile pic!!!

fluorine said

I'm sure you would give me the most expensive ring there is!!!!

indium said
