Carbon went from being "single" to a relationship with Nitrogen

Did you know that I always get drawn by artists? Well I wouldn't so much call them artists, but they're scientists who draw me and another element in our reaction to balance them with our product. It's a bit mind babbling but it's pretty cool.

Overview:
|
I am a stable element with the powers of changing into many different forms. Haha it's not easy being me, especially when most of the world depends on Carbon. I could be smooth, slipper, and compressible or I could be hard and translucent. The world may never know ;0

Activities & Interests:

I'm always on the move, sometimes hanging out with Dioxide and the others. Sometimes I like to live inside plants and then next thing you know it, i'm inside a car. My life is always changing because I have lots of friends, like the other day i was being used by a 4th grader and now i'm coming out of a sheep. The reason for all these hobbies? I just like to hang out with my friends because i'm so friendly. I take place in a lot of reactions such as with water, halogens, and acids. The main reaction I won't take place in is with bases.

Boi we ain't even flexing!
Iron and I always have a strong bond, I mean when we come together, we like to build a good foundation. Together we are Steel!
|
I swear this isn't an accident!
Just a pic of Nitrogen and I having a bit of a mess, but don't worry, it's not our fault. Together we make Cyanide!
|
When under pressure I'm always the one who shines bright through the light! When pressure i applied, I make diamonds!
|
You can say our bond stinks, but truthfully we're not poisoning the air on purpose. Lots of people like to smoke, we're just there for the fun.
Together we make Carbon Monoxide!
|
Selfie Sunday!!!!
I actually like to get used sometimes and it's so fun when I create words on a paper! When heated I make Graphite!

I like all of the details of your profile! Especially your "check-ins" and the friends that you tag. Some people say you play a role in the depletion of the ozone layer. What do you have to say back to them?

A lot of people believe that Dioxide and I wreck the ozone in a direct way, but that's not true. However, when we get rowed up and get energetic we tend to indirectly damage the ozone layer in the stratosphere. The lower stratosphere, closest to the surface and to the equator, slows down their production of ozone because of us. This could be a major problem, but we actually help out a lot more than others think. Even though we wreck the lower stratosphere, near the poles and in the upper stratosphere, we actually increase the production of ozone and help out the stratosphere repair it's ozone. It's like a loss for a gain, but at least we're being helpful!

Hi Carbon. It's me, Boron. I would like to ask you if you would be in a relationship with me. We make the compound boron carbide.

How much pressure can your element actually handle? Is there a certain point where you just, well, can't take it anymore? Oh yeah, and keep on shining bright like a diamond.

Human knowledge is quite vague with their information of me, but really they have not found out yet if it is possible to pressure me to break. If I survive the pressure deep in the Earth's core, then it would need to be an extraterrestrial amount of pressure to actually break me.

Heyyy carbon, can I assist in taking over the world?
Making cyanide sounds like fun, we get to poison all those humans (0w0)/

I'm so jealous of you carbon. You can react with so many elements. I can only react with you, Oxygen, and Plutonium. I am so so so so so jealous. #wannabemoresocial

It's official, Nitrogen and I are now a couple! What other choice would I have then the one and only beautiful Nitrogen. Together, with a covalent bond, we plan to take over the world and rid it of humans! Oh how much more romantic can that be where we will be left standing!

I saw your post about it not being easy being so reactive... I can tell you, it's not easy being entirely UNreactive either. :(
Consider yourself lucky, and congrats on you and Nitrogen! ;) You two look so cute together! >U<

Together, we can make plastics. When we bond, we become calcium carbide. So I got your back if you need me.
