Status update:

10/9- Headed to work at the nuclear power plant.
10/9- On my way home I got into an accident. I ran into a truck carrying an entire vat of acid and got drenched in the stuff. Good thing I am resistant to corrosion.
10/10- I am so proud of my son for being the light of the camera team at his school. Literally!
11/5- I FINALLY got up the guts to ask out Selenium and she said yes! I am so happy!
11/5- When balancing chemical equations, i need to make sure that there are the same number of elements on one side as the other.

Overview:
|
I am a non toxic, ductile metal. I am similar to my brother from another mother, zirconium. I am corrosion resistant so bring on the acids!

I like working at the nuclear reactor as control rods. I was the flash of the camera in college and its still a hobby of mine. When I get with my friends we can really withstand heat, and that makes us the perfect group for space shuttle engines.

Places:

10/9- Copenhagen.
10/10- NASA Space Center
10/11- Microsoft Developing Plant.
11/5- I was at the mall with Silver, Iron, Cobalt and Copper. (HfCuFe+ 2CoAg) #hangingwithhalfofthetwins but then Silver and Cobalt went off to play with their twins. (HfCuFe+Co2Ag2) HfCuFe+ 2CoAg ---> HfCuFe+Co2Ag2

Hi Hafnium! Did you quit being the camera flash after college by choice, or did the technology improve so that your help was no longer needed?

Being a flash was just a hobby of mine in college while I was studying to become a control rod. My boy now does it for his high school. I am so proud!

What acid dissolves you the most?

I dissolve the most when Hydrogen and Florine to form a hydrofluoric acid.

I don't get along well with a lot of non-metals.

Wow hafnium... you are so violent with boron, carbon, oxygen, silicon, and even sulfur! You guys really have issues with each other.

I know. Those guys have been messing with me for as long as I can remember.

I am in a relationship because we are highly reactive with each other. We fill each others valence shell to form a covalent bond.

Synthesis reactions occur when a compounds or elements join together to join more complex ones.Decomposition is when compounds break down into less complex molecules. Single displacement reactions happen when one element replaces another in a chemical compound. Double displacement reactions occur when two or more elements are replaced in a compound. I can be a part of any of these reactions.
